Guidelines for creating projects
DoNation Platform is initiated with the intention of providing support to the registered NGOs in Pakistan. This platform helps them in fundraising by sharing their campaigns with their donors in a simple & straightforward manner.
DoNation Platform is for crowdfunding!
The crowdfunding has come about so that people can take part in a noble cause just by sending an SMS to make a fundraising campaign successful collectively.
Our process is simple, after getting registered with DoNation Platform, the campaign organizer is allowed to post a fundraising campaign (including all supporting content) to the platform for approval.
When publishing a project on the DoNation Platform, the campaign organizer is responsible (including legally) for the content displayed on the campaign page as well as the veracity of the data/text, for the commitments and timelines related to the campaign.
To avoid any kind of problem, we recommend the following practices:
Know all the rules
By submitting a campaign to the DoNation Platform, you must be sure that all project content is within the Project Guidelines and our Terms of Use and that no rights are being violated.
We stipulate some basic guidelines related to supporting content that all campaigns must follow:
These rules will serve as a basis for reviewing, evaluating and, if necessary, withdrawing campaigns with content that disregard these agreements. Campaign “Content” includes the text, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, audiovisual combinations, interactive features, and other materials.
The content developed to support your fundraising campaign must follow the following criteria :
- provide true information;
- the campaign, in any way, shouldn’t reflect any religious or political influence;
- fulfill its promises of project execution;
- to remain available and to communicate in an effective, clear and transparent manner with its supporters/donors until the completion of the campaign;
The campaign organizer CAN NOT :
- propose a campaign that has a potentially illicit scope, albeit veiled;
- create a campaign that explores the image, voice or name of people without their explicit consent;
- create campaigns that, in their outreach campaign, exploit sexual themes explicitly and unreasonably or exploit shocking content such as scenes of mutilation, violence, etc.
- create
campaign thatcharacterize pedophilia, child pornography, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, religious and social intolerance, an apology to Nazism, apology or incitement to crimes, apology or incitement to cruel practices against animals; - violate the intellectual property rights of others;
- ask for
loan ; - offer financial rewards (such as equity interest, percentage over future sales or assignment of copyright, for example);
- involve tobacco, illicit drugs, medicines, cosmetics, weapons or knives in the project
and / or rewards; - import and resell products ready;
- abusing email and notifications – no one likes SPAM;
- misuse of supporters’ data.

- Look for references in successful collections through the DoNation Platform and in the stories recorded on the Blog
