What is DoNation Foundation?
The DoNation Foundation is a registered non-profit organization established on the belief that every individual deserves access to the basic necessities of life and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our vision is to foster an inclusive and equitable society where no one is left behind, while empowering individuals and communities to overcome socioeconomic barriers, build sustainable livelihoods, and contribute meaningfully to society.
When was DoNation Foundation established?
DoNation Foundation was established in 2014–15 with a vision to contribute meaningfully to society and support individuals and communities in need. Founded by Ayesha Bashir and Najam Ur Rehman and strengthened by a committed team united by the same values and purpose, the foundation has evolved into a trusted non-profit organization dedicated to creating sustainable social impact and improving the lives of underserved communities.
What are the outcomes of successful fundraising for a project?
With access to the right financial resources, tools, and support, micro-entrepreneurs can transform their businesses and create lasting improvements in their lives and communities. Our initiatives contribute to increased household incomes, greater access to education and a reduced reliance on child labor, improved health outcomes through the promotion of hygienic living and working environments, and greater inclusion and economic empowerment of marginalized groups, including women, persons with disabilities, and transgender individuals.
Who can get financial assistance for capacity building?
Financial assistance is available to micro-entrepreneurs across a wide range of sectors, including shopkeepers, mechanics, farmers, service providers, and individuals engaged in other forms of small-scale businesses. We primarily focus on financially excluded individuals who lack access to conventional sources of funding and support. By providing them with the financial resources they need, we aim to help them strengthen their businesses, achieve greater financial stability, and build sustainable livelihoods.
